Welcome to the world of Sankho Banerjeea, a multifaceted personality who has left an indelible mark in the Bengali film industry. Born in 1967, he has been associated with the entertainment world since 1987, immediately after his graduation with Honors in English Language from Scottish Church College.

Sankho Banerjeea started his career as an Announcer & News reader in Kolkata Doordarshan. He made a name for himself in the Bengali film industry as he acted in the main lead roles in a few films and TV serials. Along with his Singer identity, he started working as a Music Director and directed music for at least ten feature films, fifty telefilms, and mega-serials for almost all the leading Bengali satellite channels.

With his passion for direction, he began directing advertisement and corporate films and successfully directed at least sixty advertisement and corporate films for renowned regional, national, and global brands. He then turned into a feature film director and directed four feature films till date. His filmography includes “HASI KHUSHI CLUB,” “CHITRAHAR @ Cinema Noy Ganema,” “BHRUN,” and “VIA DUBAI.”

Sankho Banerjeea has an impressive work experience that includes working as a permanent employee of the University of Calcutta, an Eastern Region Head of Sagarika Music Pvt. Ltd, a Vice President of a Mumbai-based Real Estate Company, and a Liaison Consultant of a German-based International Company. Presently he is working as a Freelancer & Consultant of some Bombay based companies who operate Music & Film Production globally.

Sankho Banerjeea has worked with musicians, poets, writers, directors, and actors and to name a few, Pt Ajay Chakrabarti, Arati Mukherjee, Sunil Gangopadhy, Joy Goswami, Saumitra Chatterjee, and Manoj Tewari. He has also explored his other talents as a writer, actor, and solo performer in India, Dubai, Africa, Australia, etc.
